Capture compatibility

Chrome 120+ desktop. Incognito is disabled. Visible capture supports normal HTTP/HTTPS pages on the active tab. Restricted Chrome pages, Chrome Web Store, PDF viewers and protected content are unsupported.

Bounded full page

• Ordinary top-level scrolling; no horizontal overflow or nested scrollers.
• Maximum 15,000 CSS pixels of page height, 24 million output pixels and 12 capture tiles; whichever limit is reached first.
• Tab, document, viewport, zoom/scale and layout changes stop capture and discard its pixels.
• The page's scroll and temporary styles are restored after completion, error or cancel. A page-side watchdog restores changes if the worker stops unexpectedly.

Infinite feeds, lazy-loaded/changing layouts, moving content, embedded frames, canvas/video and app-specific scrolling can produce missing content. Inspect every result. If full-page capture fails, choose Visible area and crop a region. A failed capture is not exported as a complete page.
